New solutions for GIS, multimedia, detailed processing of invoices and dynamic workflow.

TINKgis
This new module makes a link between data from knowledge bases and data coming from Geographic Information Systems (GIS). With TINKgis, geographical data about information, documents, e-mail, pictures, etc. can be stored, managed and presented. TINK makes it possible to create links between locations (in the form of contextual metadata such as addresses or a position in a storage area of a factory) and GIS, such as Google Maps. A nice example is the new web application of Eurostar (which will be launched soon), that allows any traveller to London to view the physical location of an address on a roadmap or on sattelite images.

TINKmultimedia
With the module TINKmultimedia it is now possible to digitalize pictures or movies and automatically convert them to different formats. TINKmultimedia takes care of the automatic conversion of, for instance, video files to formats that can be streamed, viewed and downloaded. The 'Regionale Mediamaatschappij (RMM)', an organisation that delivers facilities to regional television broadcasting companies (Focus TV en W-TV) uses this module to digitalize, inventarize and archive all its video files.

TINK for Invoices
TINK for Invoices offers companies a complete solution to automate the entire proces of digitalizing, validating, approving and booking invoices and related documents. It is capable of performing detailed recognition on invoices to initiate extended workflow processes based on captured information. After being scanned, optical character recognition is applied and the invoices are transformed into digital text. Next, both unique data about the supplier (for instance account number, vat number) and global invoice data (for instance due date, total amount) are extracted from the invoice. Every invoice can now easily be validated. In a last step, the invoices can be routed to the appropriate people for approval and delivered to your accounting software for automated booking.  Because all invoices are enriched with metadata, it is very easy to initiate and manage archiving processes. With TINK for Invoices, both small and large companies can benefit from a wide range of cost savings, raise their productivity and accelerate business processes.

TINKworkflow
This module makes it possible to initiate dynamic workflow processes that link contextual information to the profiles of the different people that are involved. Thanks to this mechanism of profile mapping which is based on the content and context of information, the system can conditionally customize these dynamic and flexible workflow processes. With this unique module, it is possible to configure both serial and parallel processes or combinations. The right tasks will be assigned to the correct people, based on their profile or function in the organisation.  TINKworkflow also offers extended functionalities such as a sofisticated routing system, automatic notifications, delegations, etc. All this is possible without the need to predefine every  process or outcome in advance.
