Dears,
Once again, just going that little extra mile before the year is truly and officially over... ICMS Group is no stranger to this phenomenon.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to know more about one of the following items.
ICMS Group opens office in the Netherlands
On December 1st 2010, ICMS Group opened an office in Utrecht in the Netherlands to serve its Dutch customers and prospects even better in the years to come. Thanks to a close collaboration with the Dutch company i4knowledge, ICMS Group’s expertise and the TiNK technology now become even more directly accessible for organisations that want to take – in a pragmatic way – a huge step forward in the field of information and knowledge management.

TiNK in 4 continents

New product - TiNK Intelligent Enterprise Archive
ICMS Group launches a new 'red ocean' product, TiNK Intelligent Enterprise Archive.
TiNK TiNK Intelligent Enterprise Archive archives all e-mail messages and files, deduplicates information, replaces content by a TiNK object link and provides automatic enrichment with context. This way, information can be managed in a better way and becomes easily accessible, storage capacity requirements are greatly reduced and disaster recovery is strongly simplified. Thanks to the optional Log & Audit module, TiNK also contributes to Corporate Governance.
In other words, TiNK TiNK Intelligent Enterprise Archive provides basic DMs/eCM WITHOUT the hassle and effort usually associated with traditional DMs/eCM systems, and offers many MORE features and intelligence than traditional archiving systems.

TiNK Mid-Office – Process catalogue
To further simplify and speed up the implementation of TiNK Mid-Office, ICMS Group has composed a catalogue of common processes. Examples include incoming mail, complaints and notifications, outgoing mail, work assignments, requests for tender, selection and recruitment, permission requests, event organisation, etc.

Story Alex & Benjamin

Read the story of Alex and Benjamin… or how problems and solutions regarding information and knowledge led to a new friendship.
Knowledge sharing is not what’s important…
Knowledge sharing is not the real challenge of knowledge management. Re-use of knowledge and information is the real challenge and true objective. Knowledge sharing often brings about a defensive protectionist reflex in your employees, which makes knowledge management even harder to achieve. The real challenge lies in the willingness to re-use. Practice has shown that too many employees suffer from the "not invented here" syndrome. So, forget about knowledge sharing and instead put the focus on knowledge re-use; this will result in pro-active respect for the expert.
